In this dynamic talk, we’ll explore what’s changing, how to channel the sometimes-fast-moving disruption into positive change, and why there’s never been more reason to be optimistic or more opportunity to thrive.

Presenter: Elatia Abate

Elatia is an entrepreneur, educator, futurist-forward strategist, and creator of The Future of Now & Mosaic Career.  She partners with organizations from early-stage start-ups to Fortune 500 to help leaders make sense of the ever-growing disruption in our world and channel that disruption into tangible results. She has been featured in work with Tony Robbins and Trevor Noah and has been named a leading female futurist by Forbes.  She received both her BA and MBA from the University of Chicago and is an instructor for the Continuing Studies Departments for both Stanford University and University of Toronto.

How to Strengthen your Ability to Adapt: A Workshop with “The Making Box” - Scientific research now shows that practicing improvisation can strengthen our relationship with change by exposing us to unpredictability in a lighthearted context. Using lessons from applied improvisation, this session will introduce you to simple ways of strengthening your comfort with ambiguity, your capacity for change, and your ability to do courageous creative work on the biggest stage of all…real life.
