Employers & Institutions

Welcome Employers!

Whether recruiting co-op, current, graduate students, or alumni, our students offer a wide range of skills in the technical, academic, and personal management areas. To get started on a rewarding partnership, employers are welcome to create an account and gain access to a year-round pool of motivated students who are ready to make an immediate contribution on the job. As an employer you will be able to post job opportunities promptly, have access to online applications, schedule interviews in our office or off-campus locations, and be directly involved in the professional development of possible future employees.

To establish an enhanced presence and image with our best students, employers are encouraged to participate in annual networking events such as:

  • Employer Recruitment Sessions
  • Employer Panels
  • Job and Career Fairs

These events also offer employers the opportunity to meet and recruit students to their organizations, and evaluate potential permanent employees. Employers are also encouraged to raise their company profile by posting company logos on our “Employer Showcase”. Our commitment to high quality service ensures that we provide on-going support during and after the employment process. Please feel free to browse through our website, and contact us for more information.

We look forward to becoming acquainted with your company, and hope that you will consider a partnership with us a worthwhile endeavour!

Recruitment Strategies

Co-operative Education & Career Services wants to ensure that your recruitment efforts on campus are successful. While hiring needs vary, all employers are striving for the same result; the best people and the best fit for their organization.
We are here to assist you by developing tailored recruitment strategies that can enhance your visibility on campus and help you attract the type of candidates you’re looking for!
We can help you:
  • Review job descriptions and provide suggestions to make them attractive to all students – co-op, non-co-op, new graduates and alumni
  • Customize strategies to target students from specific disciplines
  • Provide direction and ideas to increase your profile and brand on campus
  • Build relationships by connecting you with academic departments and student organizations
