Drop-in schedule for the 2019 Winter Semester
Effective from Monday, February 4-Thursday, April 5, 2019
Drop-ins are cancelled on Wednesday, February 6 as our Career Advisors will be attending the P4E Job Fair. Peer Helpers will be available.
Fridays No drop-in appointments available with a Career Advisor. No drop-in appointments are available with a Career Advisor. Please see the Peer Helper drop-in schedule below for assistance with resumes and cover letters.
Peer Helpers are available to assist undergraduate students with resumes and cover letters on a drop-in basis Monday to Friday from 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. Undergraduate students can also book a mock interview with a Peer Helper by logging into Experience Guelph. These drop-ins will continue until Friday, April 5.
Accessibility Services Drop-in Sessions - Wednesdays, 1:30-3:30pm.

Note to Alumni: All alumni need to register for services through the Co-op & Career Services website in order to be able to access CECS services. Click here to register for an account. Drop-in sessions are not available for alumni that have graduated more than 12 months ago. These alumni are invited to phone our reception desk at x 52323 to book an appointment with a Career Advisor.
Career Services offers students individual sessions with one of our professional Career Advisors. They meet with individuals for a wide variety of career-related concerns such as career indecision, self-assessment and further education planning.
- Career Advising appointments are free for registered students
- Appointments are 30 minutes
- Each appointment is catered to the individual student's needs

Karolina Rachtan from Career Services will be available at the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Main Office in Level 3 of the University Centre on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30pm, in person or by email (email@example.com), as a resource to help with job search strategies, talk about disclosure in the employment process, and explore career direction. No appointment needed, just check-in at the SAS front desk.
Our fully trained and supervised Peer Helpers can assist students with the following:
- Resume critiques
- Cover letter critiques
- Mock Interviews (interview bookings require 48 hours notice)

Please note: Mock interviews with a Peer Helper are for undergraduate students in preparation for job interviews. Graduate students and those looking for help preparing for interviews related to further education can attend a drop-in session with a Career Advisor to request a scheduled mock interview.
