Volunteering

For many students, the first step in skill development and getting a job will come from volunteering.

Valuable employability skills like leadership, teamwork, and communication are just a few of the skills students will be able to improve while volunteering. Every survey tells us that employers seek students that have experience, regardless of whether it is paid or unpaid.

Volunteering will also allow students to network with people in their field. It is important to build professional connections and relationships while on campus. Students can utilize these connections to help ease their way when career planning and job searching.
