Career Nights and Employer Panels are networking events where alumni or industry representatives share information and advice with students about a specific industry or career opportunities within an organization. These events are typically held in the Fall and early Winter semesters. This can be an excellent way for employers or professional associations to promote on campus.
The format for Career Nights is typically informal, with either roundtables or booths used in a large open space to allow for students to drop in and out throughout the course of an evening. At Employer Panels, representatives sit at the front of a room at a longer table and speak to students as a group. Our panels are typically facilitated by a Career Advisor in a question and answer style. Employer Panels are focused on a particular area of interest.
At Career Nights and Employer Panels, employer representatives are asked to come prepared to speak about themselves including their career, organization or employer, and to share industry insights, tips and information.
