Careers Impacting the Environment Job Fair

Recruit, hire, and increase your company's branding by connecting with students interested in the careers impacting the environment and in your upcoming co-op, full-time, new grad, or summer opportunities.

The Careers Impacting the Environment Job Fair will be hosted in two formats. You may choose the option that is best for you:

  • Option A: In-person including a virtual information booth on the Symplicity Career Fair platform.
  • Option B: Virtual information booth on the Symplicity Career Fair platform.

Registration Includes:

In-Person Fair with Virtual Information Booth:

  • In-person opportunity to meet face-to-face with students from all year levels including graduating and co-op students, plus a virtual information booth showcasing your organizational logo, website, description, links to promotional videos, job opportunities, contact information, and more.
  • Connect with registered students before the in-person event to enhance your day-of conversations.
  • Downloadable resume package.
  • Online job postings on Experience Guelph.
  • Promotion of your organization on marketing materials and social media.
  • Parking on campus with shuttle service to and from the University Centre at the start and end of the Fair.
  • 2 X $10 refreshment voucher valid on campus for purchase of snacks/beverages during the Fair.
  • Standard five-foot table including white tablecloth.
  • WIFI access at your booth.
  • 2 representatives maximum
  • Cost: $350 + HST ($395.50)
  • Optional services: Electrical access at your booth - $375 + HST

Virtual Information Booth Only

Virtual information booth showcasing your organizational logo, website, description, links to promotional videos, job opportunities, contact information, and more. This option does not include participation during the in-person event or virtual chats on the event day.

  • Connect with registered students.
  • Downloadable resume package.
  • Online job postings on Experience Guelph.
  • Promotion of your organization on marketing materials and social media.
  • Cost: $225 + HST

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations received by Wednesday, January 11, 2022, 4:00 p.m., will be issued a full refund, less a $25 administrative fee.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Gold Event Sponsorship: Maximum 1

In addition to the inclusions in a standard registration, Gold Event Sponsorship also includes the following:

  • Prime location on the show floor with maximum visibility including the only double booth at the Fair with two tables, and more space for banners, signage, and promotional items.
  • Company logo, description, and website information displayed prominently on the event website on uoguelph.ca/ELHub.
  • Company logo on the digital platform.
  • Company logo to appear on all marketing materials.
  • Company recognition on the digital platform banner.
  • Feature spotlight on the Experiential Learning Hub social media channels including Instagram and Twitter. Maximum of 3 posts/stories per channel during the two weeks in advance of the Fair.
  • Summary of social media impressions and analytics post Fair.
  • Opportunity to offer an Employer Recruitment Session post-event with event coordination and support provided by the Experiential Learning Hub Event Coordinator, including enhanced promotion.
  • Featured online job posting on Experience Guelph that will appear in all student job searches on the Experience Guelph dashboard.
  • Feature promotion in the Experiential Learning Hub e-newsletter sent weekly to students.
  • Student-focused contests.
  • Right of first refusal for Gold sponsorship the following year.
  • Cost: $5,000

Red Event Sponsorship: Maximum 3

  • Right of first refusal for Red sponsorship the following year.
  • Cost: $2,500
