Verification Letters

A verification letter is a required document to attach along with your application for a co-op work permit. This letter verifies your involvement in the Co-operative Education program, when each of your co-op work terms are scheduled and when you are scheduled to graduate.

To receive a letter (sample below), please contact Brittney Wellwood at brittney.wellwood@uoguelph.ca.  Brittney will provide the letter to you at her earliest convenience. Do not leave this until the last minute as it will not be possible to provide letters with short notice during peak periods.

Important Note: Should your permit expire prior to your last co-op work term, you will need an updated verification letter - contact the Co-op Office for the letter well in advance of the planned next co-op work term in order to ensure your renewal prior to being given access to co-op job postings.
