Co-op Policy Agreement

The Policy Agreement for Student Involvement in Co-operative Education contains the terms and conditions for which the co-op program is administered and guides the relationship between the Co-op student, Co-op Faculty Advisor, employer and the Experiential Learning Hub – Co-operative Education. It outlines the policies and procedures that are established to bring maximum benefit to students and employers and to expedite the Co-op process in an efficient way.

All co-op students are required to accept the terms and conditions of the Policy Agreement before participating in their first co-op employment process.

Policy on Co-operative Education Programming

The Policy on Co-operative Education Programming provides a statement of the principles and responsibilities in the provision of co-operative education programming at the University of Guelph.

Procedures for Policy on Co-operative Education Programming

The purpose of the Procedures for Co-operative Education Programming is to support the implementation of the “Policy on Co-operative Education Programming", approved by Senate and effective on May 1, 2022. In the event of a discrepancy between the Policy and these Guidelines, the Policy will apply.
